He Town Hall of the Villa de Tegueste already has andThe definitive project for the rehabilitation and reconversion of what was once the ‘Maestro’s House’, located in El Socorro, with the aim of conferring a neighborhood use to the space. An initiative that will be co-financed by the Consistory and the Island Council of Tenerife.
To transform the house into a neighborhood center, The project proposes different remodeling and rehabilitation works such as removal of interior partitionsrenovation of the facilities and all their finishes, as well as provision of an adapted toilet, with the objective of offering a clear and accessible space for users.
outside performance
On the outside, work will be done on the renovation of the finishes, carpentry and plasteringas well as in the roof waterproofing. Also, it will rearrange the existing outdoor space between the wake and the future neighborhood center, endowing it with new pavement, lighting, elements of urban furniture, vegetation and children’s games.
The project also contemplates the conditioning of the rear area of the wake that is located outside the house, which will be transformed into a recreation area. In this sense, the design of a plant filter and the provision of a direct access to the road are contemplated.
