The Santa Cruz City Council, through the Department of Strategic Projects, has received approval for an average financing of 26% of funds Next Generation for commissioning, 15 fields of soccer municipalities, of efficient systems that will allow the installation of Hot water sanitary by means of heating by Thermal solar energy. “These are 15 projects already drawn up and that, foreseeably, will be approved for bidding at the next Governing Board on Monday, May 15,” announces the mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez.
The subsidy is related to the power generated and will reach around 28% of the total cost of the projects, which is 228,486.36 euros, so 64,043.23 euros will be received as a subsidy. “So much so – advances the Councilor for Sports, Alicia Cebrián – that the intention is to proceed with the tender next month, with which the award could be in September and have them all installed in the last quarter of the year.”
The Consistory clarifies that this subsidy, already granted, has nothing to do with shading projects on the soccer fields themselves, which will have solar panels on the roofs to increase energy efficiency, an intervention whose drafting is about to be put out to tender.
The soccer fields that will benefit from this subsidy are Barranco Grande, El Draguillo, El Sobradillo, El Tablero, García Escámez, Juan Santamaría, La Salud, Las Delicias, Llano del Moro, Los Gladiolos, San Joaquín, María Jiménez, Santa María del Mar, Tíncer and Valleseco.
