The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has decreed the status of wind alert that can reach up to 90 kilometers per hour on the islands of The Palm, La Gomera, Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Specifically, and according to the Government of the Canary Islands, the alert started at 4:00 p.m. on Monday mainly affecting cumbres and west of La Palma, to La Gomera as a whole, to the south and northwest of Tenerife, as well as to cumbres, east and west of Gran Canaria.
