SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, May 7. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has declared a situation of alert for coastal phenomena starting at 9:00 p.m. this Sunday on the southeast coast of the island of Tenerife.
As reported by the regional Executive, it is a decision that is made taking into account the information available and in application of the Specific Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands for Risks of Adverse Meteorological Phenomena (PEFMA).
Specifically, an episode of force 8 northeast wind is expected – from 62 to 74 kilometers per hour – offshore that will last a few hours this Sunday night and early Monday.
