The La Laguna City Council will keep open until May 24 the call for aid for the rehabilitation of buildings of patrimonial interest.
This line of subsidies is aimed at private holders, whether they are owners, tenants or usufructuaries, with the aim of helping to preserve in good condition buildings that have elements of high historical and heritage value, but that due to their age and characteristics require a great investment in its maintenance.
As reported by the City Council, the Department of Historical Heritage has enabled a budget item of 160,000 euros for these aids.
In this way, it has entrusted the Municipal Housing and Services Society (Muvisa) with the direct management of the processing of the subsidies, so any type of consultation about the call must be made through this channel.
In the same way, the bases and requirements of this line of aid have been sent to all the Citizen Centers of the municipality, to guarantee that all the information reaches the largest number of people who may be interested in accessing the rehabilitation of these properties. Applications must be submitted to the Citizen Attention Service (SAC) of La Laguna City Council.
The line of subsidies is allocated both to cataloged real estate located in the area established by the Special Plan for the Protection of the Historic Site of La Laguna and to those located in other parts of the municipality that are included in the Protection Catalog of the current Plan Ordination General.
For their part, actions such as the conservation and restoration of facades and roofs, improvement of accessibility conditions, renovation of electrical installations, plumbing and sanitation, among others, will be the object of this aid, including material and labor costs.
The maximum amount of the individual subsidy to be awarded for this type of subsidy will be 8,000 euros. In no case may it exceed 70% of the total budget of the work to be executed.
This subsidy will be compatible with those authorized by the Cabildo de Tenerife for the same purpose, and will be made in competitive competition, establishing a valuation scale based on the cataloging of the property and the type of action to be carried out.
