A child of four years has been referred to a hospital in southern Tenerife after being rescued from pool of a hotel complex with symptoms of drowning incomplete.
The events occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert announcing that they had removed from the pool of a hotel , located on Avenida Rafael Puig in the municipality of Arona, to an unconscious child.
While the health resources arrived, a health coordinator from the SUC indicated, through telecare, how to perform resuscitation maneuvers on the minor.
Upon arrival at the scene, SUC personnel verified that the minor was conscious, so they proceeded to assess his condition and transferred him to Hospiten Sur as he presented symptoms of incomplete drowning.
The Local Police and the National Police collaborated in resolving the incident.
