The good weather and the festive day have turned the García Sanabria park into the center of attention and visits from the chicharreros. Hundreds of people have gathered at the inauguration of the Exhibition of Flowers, Plants and Crafts, which this year is also joined by the Book Fair.
The García Sanabria promenades were overflowing with people, which made it almost impossible to walk at times.
The mayor of José Manuel Bermúdez, accompanied by the Councilor for Fiestas, Alfonso Cabello, and the Queen of the May Fiestas, Kimberly Baute, the Children’s Magician, Lía González, and the Children’s Magician, Aarón Rodríguez, together with the corresponding courts of honor, they walked through the different stalls talking to each one of the representatives of these spaces, who congratulated each other on the large influx of public that was having that morning.
A “plethoric” May was how the mayor defined some founding festivities, with the García Sanabria in the center until next Sunday, May 7.
