SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 30 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 59-year-old man has been injured after accidentally falling from a roof on Camino Los Alenes, in the municipality of San Juan de la Rambla, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1- 2.
The event occurred yesterday Saturday, shortly before 8:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert that a man had accidentally fallen from a roof and required health care.
Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a sanitary ambulance from the SUC, members of the Consortium of Firefighters and Local Police traveled to the scene.
Firefighters, due to the difficulty of the journey, evacuated the affected person on a stretcher to the area where the ambulance was located. The SUC personnel assessed and assisted the injured man, who was transferred by sanitary ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands, presenting moderate injuries, except for complications.
The Local Police collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
