SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 29 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
Civil Guard agents belonging to the Granadilla de Abona Main Post, with the support of agents from the Candelaria Main Post, have arrested two men aged 40 and 22, both residents of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as alleged perpetrators of the robbery of two mobile phone antenna batteries valued at 10,000 euros.
The criminal acts occurred after the notice that the agents received of a possible alarm in a certain area of San Miguel de Tajao, belonging to the municipality of Arico, in which the alleged perpetrators had stolen two mobile phone antenna batteries valued both at approximately 10,000 euros.
After the alert, the Civil Guard agents immediately went to the place and thanks to the information provided in the notice, together with the raid they gave in the area, they managed to locate the vehicle in which the defendants were circulating at that moment, which, after taking the necessary security measures, managed to stop at the height of the municipality of Candelaria and proceed to the arrest of both with the support of agents of the Main Post of the aforementioned municipality and to recover the batteries that were still found in the vehicle.
The detainees, along with the proceedings conducted, have been brought before the courts.
