The National Police has arrested four peopletwo men and two women between the ages of 25 and 60, in two police operations against ‘retail’ drug trafficking carried out in the neighborhoods of Las Delicias and Santa Clara in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The first operation involved a judicially authorized entry and search of two buildings in the Las Delicias neighborhood.
The agents of the National Police had the collaboration of the Team of the Canine Guides Unit of the City Council and proceeded to the arrest of three young people, a man and two women between the ages of 25 and 36, for a crime against public health.
In addition, the arrested man had six arrest warrants issued by different courts in the capital of Tenerife, which is why he barely left one of the registered properties.
In total, more than 107 grams of cocaine were seized, 14 doses of this substance available for sale, 33 grams of hashish, precision scales, bladed weapons, simulated firearms, and 25 9-millimeter caliber cartridges.
After being brought before the courts, two of the detainees were placed in pretrial detention by order of the competent judicial authority, according to a note from the National Police.
At the same time, in the Santa Clara neighborhood, the agents proceeded to enter and search, judicially authorized, an address from which, according to previous investigations, drugs were sold at retail to minors.
Thus, inside the home, a 60-year-old man was arrested, the alleged perpetrator of the crime against public health investigated by the National Police.
