SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 26 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the Highways area, is carrying out the improvement of the pavement of the Vía de Ronda (TF-13), between its beginning at the link with the TF-5 and kilometer point 4, located next to to the roundabout that connects with the Camino de Las Mercedes.
The works will last until Thursday, May 11, and will be carried out at night, between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., to affect circulation as little as possible.
With this action, the upper layer of the pavement will be removed to replace it with a new one, which will put an end to the inconvenience caused by potholes and damage to the road. In this way, not only the safety of the users will be increased but also the comfort will be improved.
On the 26th and 27th, the affected section will cover from the TF-5 junction to the La Laguna exit. During the time that the works last, that is, between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., traffic will be diverted in the Tegueste direction via the Lora Tamayo link. From this point along the route, it will circulate along Avenida Calvo Sotelo and Plaza del Adelantado, until accessing the TF-13 again through the La Laguna junction located at kilometer 1.74.
During May 1, 2 and 3, action will be taken on the road that circulates in the Tegueste direction from the access to La Laguna to the access roundabout to Camino de Las Mercedes. To do this, traffic will be diverted through the La Laguna link, which will continue along Plaza de Adelantado, Nava y Grimón street, La Rúa road, Luisa Estany street and Las Mercedes street, until joining the TF-13 at the roundabout. During these days, the traffic that circulates along the Vía de Ronda towards TF-5 will not be affected by the works.
For the 4th and 7th of May it is planned to work on the same stretch, but in this case it will proceed in the opposite direction. Therefore, the traffic that circulates in the direction of Tegueste will continue to deviate through the interior of La Laguna until it joins the roundabout for access to the Camino de Las Mercedes and the traffic that advances in the direction of TF-5 will deviate along the lane and the shoulder of the direction contrary.
On May 8, 9 and 10, the works will only affect the lanes that circulate in the TF-5 direction and traffic will be diverted at the access link to La Laguna circulating through Plaza del Adelantado, Consistorio street, Calvo Sotelo avenue and Lora Tamayo street, until you reach the link with the TF-5.
On May 11, work will be done on the La Verdellada, San Roque and El Bronco junctions, so the entry and exit lanes will be cut alternately overnight for the execution of the works in each of them.
