The coalition arrives at the local elections of 2023 with a clear conviction of unitary work to share the forces and capacities of each organization with the objective of offer the citizens of Candelaria a proposal capable of guaranteeing the defense of their interests. “The municipality has been entrenched by decades of government of the PSOE, subjected to a paralysis that does not allow us to develop transformation projects. From Candelaria we observe other municipalities of Tenerife become pioneers of truly transformative policies, in keeping with the times, to a new way of directing public administrations and of relating to citizens, while in Candelaria we are anchored in the past, in a continuity of the old that does not offer the population no alternative to solve the enormous number and diversity of problems that affect us”, says Lourdes Mondéjar.
“With this unitary proposal, our objective is encourage participation and mobilization at the polls, so as to reinforce the conviction of the people of Candelaria in the transforming value of their own initiatives. Only with the activation of each person who wants a profound change in our municipality will we be able to open a space in the City Council that allows us to follow the transformative path of other municipalities on the island, as they did in 2019 La Laguna, Buenavista, Tacoronte, Puerto de la Cruz, Tegueste and El Rosario”, points out the United Yes We Can candidate.
