The PSOE has chosen the island councilor Carmen Luz Baso as its candidate for mayor of Los Silos. Last Saturday, the Insular Commission of Lists of the PSOE of Tenerife unanimously ratified the candidacy proposal presented by the new socialist leader. This candidacy was presented yesterday before the Electoral Board, thus giving the starting signal to a new stage in the PSOE silense, in which it is committed to “focusing efforts on informing the public of its proposals and on inviting all those who wish to do so to contribute and improve the change project proposed by the PSOE of Los Silos and driven by the collective leadership of the people.”
Carmen Luz Baso affirms that the candidacy is supported by a large team of men and women from Silense who have been working and developing a transformation project for their municipality. «It is a collective project that started motivated because the diagnosis made by the Silense population is unequivocal: the town of Los Silos needs a change of direction. And you need it urgently. The town shows serious signs of exhaustion and every day counts when starting a new stage », she argues.
The list of the socialist candidate is made up of a team representing all the neighborhoods of the municipality, with different personal and professional profiles, which seeks the combination of different ways of understanding Los Silos. “It is a large and qualified team for a project that wants to represent all the diversity that comes together in our municipality so that the common project is inclusive and obtains the support of the community, and most importantly, the involvement of the entire town of Los Silos. », emphasizes Baso.
