SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Cabildo de Tenerife, through the area of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, has published a new edition of the call for aid with which each year it contributes to finance the organization of municipal Craft fairs.
The budget allocated in 2023 to this line of subsidies amounts to 50,000 euros, expandable to another 20,000 euros, and the period to request them will be open for 30 calendar days.
Aimed at all the town councils on the island, the objective of these subsidies is the encouragement and promotion of artisan products from Tenerife.
In accordance with the bases of the call, the subsidized fairs must take place over at least one day and have a minimum of 30 exhibitors, of which 25% must be allocated to traditional trades. In addition, all artisans exhibiting must have a valid artisan card issued by the Corporation.
The maximum amount of the aid may not exceed 6,250 euros per municipality and may only cover 70% of eligible expenses, including the infrastructure of the fairgrounds or rental of stands or furniture and advertising and stationery expenses and site security.
