Canary Islands is one of the autonomous communities in which will be held on May 28 the municipal elections 2023as is the case in the rest of Spain, with the exception of the communities of Andalusia, Catalonia, Galicia, the Basque Country and Castillo y León, where the elections are scheduled on other dates.
There are many people who are not physically in the place where they are registered, so they will have to use the absentee ballot inside of the established application period that opened on April 4 and lasted until May 18.
