VALVERDE (THE IRON), 22 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The PP’s national deputy secretary for Regional and Local Policy, Pedro Rollán, has assured that the president of the Canary Islands and socialist candidate for re-election, Ángel Víctor Torres, still has “many explanations to give” for the so-called ‘Mediator’ case.
This was revealed this Saturday during the presentation of the party’s electoral candidacies in El Hierro, which was also attended by the candidate for the Presidency of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Domínguez; and the president of the insular PP, Juan Manuel García Casañas.
The popular one compared the vision of the Canary Islands that the popular candidates have with the vision that those involved in the ‘Mediator’ case have. “You have to get annoyed,” he said, “the vision that a good man has of what agriculture is and the handling of another harassing and passing a bill, a toll or a bite if they want to continue progressing.”
“The Canary Islands that I know, and El Hierro that I have heard, is not that of Tito Berni, nor that of his nephew, nor that of the mother who gave birth to them,” Rollán asserted.
He also recalled that Torres began to make dismissals due to “loss of confidence.” “Tururú due to loss of confidence,” he continued. I’ll put this one aside a bit, I’ll leave the guy in Congress and see if with a bit of luck the thing clears up and doesn’t blow up”.
“And of course he jumped. It must be recognized that Ángel Víctor Torres has to give many, many, many explanations,” he concluded.
