Two people have been injured, one of them seriously, in a quad accident that occurred this Thursday afternoon in the vicinity of the Las Lajas recreational area, in the Tenerife municipality of Vilaflor.
The accident, as reported by the 1-1-2 emergency service, occurred after 4:00 p.m. and the serious injury is a 29-year-old woman of French nationality, who at the initial moment of assistance presented polytrauma.
The other injured person is a 33-year-old man, also of French nationality, who presented moderate polycontusions.
The injured were transferred in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.
Apparently the accident occurred when the quad left the road, falling vertically about four meters.
The occupants were rescued by firefighters and taken to the place where the ambulances were located.
