Cristo Santiago, who was number 21 on the PSOE list for Mayor of Mogán (Gran Canaria) after having been a candidate for VOX in the neighboring municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana in 2019, has decided to resign from participating in the elections.
This was confirmed this Wednesday to the media by the general secretary of the PSOE, Ángel Víctor Torres, who has indicated that despite the fact that he closed the plate, as an independent and signed the ethical code of the socialists, he has decided to resign after maintaining talks with party leaders.
“He is going to support the PSOE but he does not want to harm the organization, he has resigned, and that is the information that I have to transfer,” he added.
