SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 15 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A 50-year-old man has been hospitalized in critical condition after being recovered from a cardiorespiratory arrest on the Ramblas de Santa Cruz, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The event occurred today, Saturday, at around 7:15 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert stating that a person had fainted on public roads and required health care.

A health worker at the Hospiten Rambla University Hospital, located in a place close to the area where the affected person was found, verified that he was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers.

Subsequently, SUC personnel joined the efforts to assist the affected person and together with the hospital professionals they continued practicing resuscitation maneuvers, which managed to recover the affected person’s pulse. Once stabilized, he was transferred in critical condition in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. De Candelaria.

National Police agents who also went to the scene collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
