A traveling office will tour La Laguna to report on foreclosures and abusive financial products



The Office of Domestic and Financial Economics of La Laguna has returned to the municipality and this time with an itinerant format to facilitate access for people in a situation of vulnerability or at risk of social exclusion, a service that will cover four squares in different parts of the municipality until May 30.

This initiative of the Platform for People Affected by Mortgages (AHINOR) has the collaboration of the Social Welfare Area of ​​the La Laguna City Council and is financed by the Department of Social Rights of the Government of the Canary Islands.

This office will attend to those who need information, guidance and advice in relation to judicial proceedings derived from foreclosures, revolving cards and financial products with unfair terms, but also, in what is necessary to improve the management of the family economy and guarantee coverage of your needs.

This individualized service will cover, every Tuesday and until May 30, the Plazas del Cristo (Casco), El Tranvía (La Cuesta), José Hernández Arocha (Taco) and Tejina, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and, preferably, with appointment, to dedicate more time to each user.

The itinerant office has a technical team specialized in this type of operation, made up of Law, Psychology and Social Work professionals, who offer free professional attention to the greatest possible number of neighbors who have problems to face payments, at risk of eviction, and even with difficulties planning daily needs.
