Opera
Ópera de Tenerife presents this weekend The little sweep (the little chimney sweep), by Benjamin Britten. This story takes place at the beginning of the 19th century and narrates the Sam’s story, who at just eight years old was enslaved by two people and forced to clean chimneys in deplorable conditions, but who was able to escape from that situation with the help of other children and some adults. The functions are this Saturday, at 6:00 p.m., and Sunday, at 12:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased on the website of Tenerife Auditorium.

Solidarity has an appointment this weekend in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The Breast Cancer Association of Tenerife (Ámate) celebrates its XVI Charity Parade this Saturday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. The objective of this initiative, baptized as The catwalk of hope, is to make breast cancer and people who suffer from or have passed this disease visible. The price of the tickets is 6 euros and will go entirely to the entity.
Gastronomy
Gastronomy comes from the hand of Burger Festival Tenerife, which celebrates its third edition in La Laguna. An essential appointment to taste the best hamburgers in Canary Islands and craft beers from the island and the rest of the world. The stalls will be distributed between Plaza del Adelantado and the attached parking lot, in The lagoon. The hours on Saturday will be from 2:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will also be musical performances.
