The layout project runs through the municipalities of La Orotava, Santa Úrsula, La Victoria de Acentejo, La Matanza de Acentejo, El Sauzal and Tacoronte. It has nine links in a length of approximately 17 kilometers.
With today’s publication in the BOC, the public information process begins, for the presentation of allegations, observations and queries, for a period of thirty business days, starting tomorrow.
During this period, the project documentation can be consulted on the website of the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Housing.
Likewise, copies in digital format of the complete project, the documentation collected in accordance with current regulations, as well as the relevant one received by the substantive body prior to the time of this public information, will be exhibited in the departments of the ministry.

The high intensity of traffic together with the agitation caused by the numerous entrances and exits cause “the serious problems of congestion suffered by the TF-5”, the document indicates.
According to the order of the Technical Specifications of the contract, the intervention to be carried out in the study section of the TF-5 consists of providing the infrastructure with an additional third lane in each direction between Guamasa and La Orotava.
The need to study the existing links and their remodeling is also pointed out, so that a correct location and optimal design result in correspondence with the current layout regulations, allowing the introduction of new links, integration of existing steps or elimination of those that By alternative provision, it is convenient for road safety and better territorial transfer between banks.
The project also states that in areas where it is necessary, new service roads will be built or existing ones will be relocated, always taking urban planning into account.
