The candidate of People’s Party (PP) to the Presidency of the Council of TenerifeLope Afonso, has presented this Friday his electoral program that he has defined as that of the “beginning of change” on the island after a political cycle of three governments “without solving” the main problems.
In an act before the media, he has detailed that they do not put “limits” on their growth expectations –they currently have four directors and does not rule out reaching eight– and they do not renounce being the “majority force” in the corporation, while it has made it clear that it will only sign pacts that allow it to have “stable governments” and are not in the hands of “minorities”, as has happened in this mandate to Pedro Martín (PSOE) together with CS and the external support of Sí Podemos.
Five axes for change
The electoral program of the popular people of Tenerife is made up of 180 measures and five axes that try to “restore the confidence” of the citizens, “remove obstacles” to expedite projects and end the “paralysis” of this last term.
