A 28-year-old woman has been arrested as the alleged perpetrator of scams that have affected at least 14 people in the south of Tenerife for an amount exceeding 30,000 euros, by allegedly using her work as a real estate agent to make sales and rentals that are not Carried out.
The National Police has reported this Wednesday that the young woman, a native of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has been arrested in Adeje, and has explained that the clients, once they agreed to buy or rent, signed a contract in which the signatures were forged from the alleged owners or lessors.
The buyers gave a signal to this real estate agent, who kept part of the money, and the people affected frequently found the rooms occupied.
The investigation was carried out as a result of the great similarity found by the National Police agents in terms of the way of acting used in various events reported in the south of Tenerife, indicated in a statement.
The National Police does not rule out carrying out new actions that could lead to the appearance of other people harmed by acts of the same nature.
