Agents of the Citizen Security Operative Unit of the General Corps of the Canary Islands Police (CGPC) have arrested to three peopleof Italian nationality, upon finding them during the search of a house and premises in the area of the El Chaparral urbanization, in Costa del Silencio, in Arona (Tenerife), six kilos of hashish, 720 grams of marijuana and 11,544 euros in cash, distributed in different amounts.
Likewise, the agents seized four daggers, an axe, a compressed air shotgun, five mobile phones, four precision scales, a sealer, 6,000 transparent bags and 200 plastic containers for drug transport, as well as documentation that is being subject to analysis, as reported by the Autonomous Police in a press release.
The arrests are part of the investigative actions of the ordinary services of said unit in matters of citizen security and that in this case arose after neighborhood complaints about drug trafficking and consumption in the area of the El Chaparral urbanization.
In this way, after opening the corresponding proceedings, the agents began the follow-up and the investigations that resulted in the entry and search of a house and a premises, as well as the discovery of the aforementioned material.
