SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 1 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The general secretary of the national PP, Elías Bendodo, has assured that the president of the Canary Islands and general secretary of the PSOE in the islands, Ángel Víctor Torres, “has too much lead in his wings to take off in his candidacy: in one wing the Tito case Berni and in another the Mascarillas case, two ballasts that will lead him to the opposition,” he said.
During the presentation of Ana Zurita’s candidacy for the mayor’s office of La Laguna, Bendodo recalled that the recently appointed Minister of Industry, Héctor Gómez, was a parliamentary spokesman for the PSOE when ‘Tito Berni’ set up his “pirate office” in the Congress of the Deputies, signing together more than one hundred initiatives in the Lower House.
“In the face of corruption and conformism, in the face of the tax increase and the PSOE’s desire to collect, the PP offers unity, ideas, enthusiasm, a project, a team and a guarantee of change,” Bendodo said about the Plan to Govern led by Manuel Dominguez.
Finally, the general secretary of the national PP valued the economic proposals of the leader of the popular in the Archipelago, which includes measures such as a fiscal plan that advocates lowering the IGIC from 7% to 5% or the 99% bonus for inheritance and gift tax
