The image of the surroundings of the Municipal Reception Center, in the Azorín neighbourhood, has once again been degraded with the appearance of mattresses and belongings of all kinds of people who can not find a place in the hostel to spend the night. From the Neighborhood Association, which has seen its directive renewed, with Ángel Brito at the helm, the need for the City Council to act to avoid this image, which right now directly affects the headquarters of the neighborhood association, in whose part rear several homeless people spend the night.
The president warns that there are also several people who spend the day lying on the Pancho Camurria roundabout, or in the Manuel Castañeda park, recalling that the promise of fencing for this last enclave has not yet been fulfilled, despite the announcements to the regard. The association insists on the need to care for these people so that they are not forced to sleep or remain on the street.
Ángel Brito replaces José Luis Guzmán, who said goodbye to the presidency taking stock of the association’s activity and remembering Luis Celso García Guadalupe, a renowned neighborhood leader, who proposed that he start in the neighborhood movement, and the also deceased Lolo Dorta.
