Brawl in the Güímar City Council, not only between the Government group (PSOE-CC) and the opposition, or to be more specific, the Popular Party, but also between the members of the Government pact and the municipal secretary, Marisa Santos , whom yesterday the socialist mayor José Miguel Hernández accused of lying when he stated in the plenary session that “the processing of files had been altered” and that for this reason he requested the withdrawal as administrator of the Electronic Platform of the former mayor, Airam Puerta. Hernández not only defended her party partner, but went beyond her by describing the national empowerment as a “liar”, accusing her of “paralyzing the City Council” and of “overreaching her duties once again”. .
The secretary, who at first wanted to leave the plenary session, replied shortly after that “those words will have consequences” and explained that “I have had problems with all the parties, it is always a crossroads every time I make an unfavorable report”, he sentenced .
After half an hour, the plenary session continued with its agenda, but it did not come to an end, because in requests and questions, the mayor of the PP, Francisco Hernández Armas, made Airam Puerta ugly to blame the opposition for the illness of his father, which caused the reproach of Patricia Encinoso and José Miguel Hernández, among others, disqualifying the popular mayor, with an exchange of shouting and insults that ended up forcing the mayor, Gustavo Pérez, to suspend the plenary session, while the Local Police so that the blood did not reach the river.
