Canarian Coalition has made public its list of candidates for the City hall of Santa Cruz of Tenerife for the elections on May 28 led by the mayor José Manuel Bermudez and with the defecting councilor Evelyn Alonzo in it post sixwhich he joined as an independent.

Evelyn Alonso joined the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council on June 26, 2020 after the resignation of her fellow party member Juan Ramón Lazcano.
Days later, he supported the motion of no confidence against Patricia Hernández (PSOE) that made the Canarian Coalition recover the mayoralty of the city, a year after losing it in 2019. Now, he now joins this list in which up to five current Councilors of the Tenerife Town Hall also attend, such as Gladis de León (number two), Alfonso Cabello (number three), Rosario González (number four), Javier Rivero (number five ) and Purificación Dávila (number eight).
councilors Dámaso Arteaga and Juan José Martínez will foreseeably appear on the party list for the Cabildo de Tenerife.
The defecting councilor, just over a month ago, was the protagonist of a controversy after show off at the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife Nazi Elements, specifically a flat cap from the Schutzstaffel, the Nazi SS, Adolf Hitler’s security and repression squad. Surrounded by other people with clothing alluding to the Third Reich, she posed smiling wearing the cap with the swastika and skull identifying that criminal organization.
