A 45-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman have been injured of varying degrees in a traffic accident where the man was run over as he passed through Güímar, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 1-1- 2 from the Canary Islands.
The events occurred this Sunday afternoon on the TF-1 road, at kilometer point 30, as it passes through the municipality of Güímar, the place where the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) traveled. ) after being alerted to the run over of a man and subsequent collision between several vehicles on the road.
Once at the scene, the SUC personnel treated the man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented severe head and chest trauma, for which he was transferred in a medicalized ambulance from the SUC to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria, where he was admitted in critical condition.
Likewise, SUC personnel assisted the 44-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a state of mild anxiety, although she did not require transfer.
At the scene of the incident, members of the Highway Maintenance Service appeared, who cleaned the road, as well as agents of the Civil Guard who instructed the corresponding proceedings.
