The Plaza del Príncipe will concentrate the children’s activities of Plenilunio

The Plaza del Príncipe will house a large part of the children’s activities in Full Moon Santa Cruz, with bouncy castles, workshops and a stage with musical and magic performances, both on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April. This was reported by the CEO of the Development Society, Alfonso Cabello, who explained that “Full Moon has always remained a proposal for family audiences, and this year we return with up to eight spaces in which activities will be carried out for the little ones”.

Cabello has specified that “the bouncy castles and the workshops of the Plaza del Príncipe will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.” and added that “both days, from 12:00 p.m. and during In the afternoon, the performances will take place on stage, with Zumba kids, Disney photocall, Los Piojillos or magic performances, among others”.

“Another of the locations planned for children is the Plaza del Chicharro,” said Cabello, “which will begin its activity on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with a dramatized storyteller in English by Kid&Us” and added that “later, from From 12:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. you can attend the Mad Scientist scientific workshops, also courtesy of Kid&Us”.

“On the other hand, in the Bulevar park there will also be scientific workshops, run by the Cepsa Foundation, as well as bouncy castles, both available on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.,” said Cabello, adding that “the plaza de España will have a large toy library, which will be available on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Likewise, the mayor reported that “the Casa del Carnaval will open both on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a specific program on the occasion of Full Moon” and specified that “face painting workshops will be held and balloon twisting, craft workshops and guided tours, all free by reservation on the website www.casacarnavalsantacruz.comand in addition, a food truck will be located outside the enclosure with food and drinks”.

Cabello continued commenting that “Le Good Market, in addition to being an ideal space for family outings, has organized giant board games, both on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00” and concluded by mentioning that “in the Teatro Guimerá will perform the play ‘La llave mágica’, aimed at children, on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday at 12:00 p.m., while the lunar mini-workshops for children will take place at the TEA from 6 years”.

“Full Moon Santa Cruz” is organized by the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, through the Development Society, and is sponsored by Fundación Cepsa, Sanitas, Coca-Cola, Grupo Domingo Alonso and CaixaBank, as well as the Government of the Canary Islands and Promotur Turismo Canarias, with European REACT and FEDER Funds.

The people attending “Plenilunio Santa Cruz” will have the possibility of parking their vehicles in car parks of Weyler, Ramón y Cajal, Plaza de España, Intercambiador, Bulevar and Mercado, which will launch a series of discounts and specific rates on the occasion of Full moon. Likewise, both Titsa and Metrotenerife will reinforce the bus and tram services throughout the weekend.
