Numerous studies support the placement of tennis balls on desks and chairs as a strategy to reduce the noise level in the classroom and improve the learning environment for students with neurodivergent special educational needs with ASD, ADHD, AACC or with sensory processing problems. among others”, they highlight in their statement.
For this reason, they ask all those people who may have at their disposal tennis or paddle tennis balls already discarded for their use, especially sports clubs, to send them to the center from today, March 27, to Friday the 31st of the same month.
The use of tennis balls on the legs of chairs and tables in educational centers, as a simple and economical method to muffle and minimize noise, is a very widespread technique in educational centers throughout Europe.
