SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The National Police will develop a special security device before the Cadena Dial 2023 awards ceremony is held at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds. Given the national repercussion of the event, which will be attended by various authorities and personalities, as well as the large influx of the general public, the National Police will establish a special device to reinforce the security of all citizens.
This device will run from early Thursday afternoon until the end of the event. The realization of the same will be marked by a specialized response according to the security requirements that must be met for a correct achievement of the cultural event, deploying the operation from the vicinity of a well-known hotel establishment in the capital of Tenerife -in order to ensure the exit of invited artists-, to the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds where the awards ceremony is held.
To this end, the patrolling of the units in regular service and that carry out their work in the Citizen Service Group (GAC) will be increased, in support of the specialized units involved in this event, among which is the Prevention and Reaction (UPR).
