The works to provide Santa Cruz with a new sports block in the surroundings of the Municipal Sports Pavilion progress at a good pace, so much so that the structure of the pavilion Paco Alvarezin which the David González pool was also located, has already disappeared after the passing of the blades.

The next step will be the demolition of the half-finished building that has stood for years next to the Quico Cabrera, and that will also disappear to make way for the new sports space that will be built in the area over the next two 14 months of the Hand of the company Go fit, which will convert the space that now exists next to the Heliodoro Rodríguez López into the big sports apple of Santa Cruz, with more than 25,000 square meters.

It is a project that aims to serve 10,000 people; it will create about 80 jobs; will free up 290 parking spaces, thanks to the parking underground of the facilities, and will allow, for 35 euros, according to the company, the residents can go every day to practice any of the activities that are offered in the sports facilities.
