Jorge Javier Vazquez captured all eyes last Wednesday after the publication of a harsh post on his blog against Alaska and Mario Vaquerizowhom he defined as “the big disappointment”. Just a few days later, the artist responded to the presenter’s words at the Dial Awards held in Tenerife, an appointment that journalists took advantage of to ask her about this matter.
In statements to the media collected by Europa Press, the interpreter of ‘Dramas and comedies’ explained that her opinion on the matter “is the opposite” of Jorge Javier’s: “It would take more than a person who writes in a medium and signs an article can not talk about what they want.”
The artist has assured that the presenter’s words have not “hurt” her for a clear reason: “I do not feel portrayed. It is as if they tell you: ‘You are Pilar Rubio’. Thank you, but no”. “There is nothing to add. If you write an article about something, it is your opinion and that goes to mass”explained an Alaska who was not surprised either: “I didn’t expect it either, but many times you can read things from behind. It doesn’t matter at all.”
“I have the same affection for him that I had for him, we have never been friends. He has always treated us wonderfully, we have had a great time on the program and I suppose it will continue to be so”Alaska pointed out to the media before making it clear that she would have no problem greeting Jorge Javier if she found him: “I am ultra-educated, as is well reflected in the article, I am very educated and I greet everyone. It is a great entertainer”.
