VALVERDE (THE IRON), 17 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 43-year-old paraglider has been seriously injured when he suffered a fall in the area of the town of Sabinosa, in Frontera (El Hierro), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The events occurred around 8:00 p.m. this Thursday in the vicinity of the town of Sabinosa, a place where members of the CECOPIN Intervention Group traveled to, who were able to locate the person affected and transferred him to the place where the ambulance was located.
Immediately afterwards, the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) verified that the man presented, at the initial moment of assistance, serious polytraumatisms, for which he was transferred in an ambulance from the SUC, with the doctor and nurse from the Health Center de Frontera, to Hospital Nuestra Señora de Los Reyes.
Civil Guard agents also appeared at the scene of the incident and conducted the corresponding proceedings.
