A scaler and a cyclist have turned out wounded in the last hours after suffering the first a fall of about three meters high, and the second, a fall, in two ravines of Arico, those of Los Caballos and Los Morales, reported sources from 112.
The injured climber is a 31-year-old man who, at the initial moment of assistance, had moderate back trauma and was transferred in a medicalized ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria University Hospital.
A helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group of the Government of the Canary Islands had to intervene to rescue this person with the collaboration of the Tenerife Fire Brigade.
He was transferred to the Tenerife North airport, where an ambulance was waiting for him and took him to the aforementioned hospital.
As for the injured cyclist, it is a 55-year-old man who suffered a fall and as a consequence of this presented various moderate injuries at the initial moment of assistance.
The firefighters from the Tenerife Consortium rescued the injured man and took him to the place where the ambulance was that evacuated him to the Hospital de La Candelaria.
The Civil Guard and the Local Police collaborated with the emergency services.
