Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Playa de las Americas Companywithin the framework of Plan for the Prevention of Drug Use and Sale in Leisure Areashave arrested two men aged 52 and 47 in the south of the tenerife island as alleged perpetrators of two crimes against public health, in the form of drug trafficking.
In one of the services, the defendant, in the presence of the patrol, put several plastic wrappers in his mouth, but thanks to the quick intervention of the agents it was possible to prevent him from swallowing 14 heroin wrappers, which were apparently prepared for your sale.
In another service, Civil Guard agents, in collaboration with the Canine Unit of the Local Police of Adejethey arrested a person, during a checkpoint of vehicles and people.
The events occurred when the agents observed the man making sudden maneuvers with the vehicle after noticing his presence.
When the agents stopped him, the defendant was very nervous, so a superficial search of the vehicle was carried out, seizing nine packages with different narcotic substances from inside, as well as 1,750 euros in cash.
The detainees, together with the proceedings, have been placed at the disposal of the investigating court on duty in Arona.
