Marco Antonio Navarro Tacoronte, the person who gives his name to the mediator case, has attended the plenary hall of the Cabildo de Tenerife, where this Wednesday an extraordinary plenary session requested by the Group of DC-PNC.
In this plenary session, the Island Councilor for Education, Youth, Museums and Sports, Concepción María Rivero, will appear to explain the reasons for the dismissal of the Insular Director of SportsÁngel Luis Pérez Peña, as well as on the performance of his duties from the date of his appointment (September 15, 2021) until the date of termination (January 31, 2023).
Perez Pena took Navarro Tacoronte to court for alleged fraud but his complaint was dismissed and he ended up being investigated for a crime of false complaint.
To defend himself against the accusation of Pérez Peña, Navarro provided messages that would dismantle his accusation, as well as the graphic and sound material that he had mobile phones and a hard drive and that constitutes the basis of the judicial investigation of the so-called Mediator case.
