The Municipal Operations Coordination Center (cecopal) from Santa Cruz de Tenerife reported this Saturday on the “important presence” of aguasvivas (jellyfish) on the beaches of Las Teresitas and Las Gaviotas, probably the bathing areas located in the capital of Tenerife with the largest number of users.
For this reason, from the Cecopal they ask the bathers who have wanted to enjoy today a sunny beach that take extreme precautionary measures to avoid mishaps such as bites.
Likewise, it has confirmed that it has proceeded to hoist the yellow flag in Las Gaviotas and the yellow one in Las Teresitassince in the latter there is less density.
CAUTION: Before the appearance of a significant number of #jellyfish #aguavivas The yellow flag is raised 🟨 on the beaches of Las Teresitas and Las Gaviotas. #PlayasSantaCruz Users of both beaches are informed.
