The facts

On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, The couple and their two children went out in the morning to take a walk through the La Quinta village in the direction of the Teide National Park, in the highlands of Adeje.

Seeing his father beating his mother and brother, the youngest of the sons ran away. Disoriented, he was located in the afternoon by a neighbor on the highway from La Quinta to Las Moraditas.

Not knowing his language, the woman took him to a friend who could translate for him and, when they understood that the father had hit them, they took him to the local police.

At seven in the afternoon of that same day, Thomas Handrick was arrested by the Civil Guard in the house in Adeje that he had bought two years before.

Location

The lifeless bodies of Silvia, the murderer’s wife, and her eldest son were located the next day, April 24, 2019, in the Inside a cave near the Hoyo del Agua area.
