The first bigeye of this fishing season arrived yesterday, at 8:00 p.m., at the Port of Los Cristianos, the first day that the closed of the bluefin tuna in Tenerife. The two captured specimens are large, one weighing 290 and the other weighing 332 kilos.
The images taken by photojournalist Mercedes Menéndez speak for themselves, as you can see the magnitude of the bigeye, which were brought to the coast by the fishing boat called Luz Miguel from Los Abrigos and captured by the fishermen Yeray and Goyo.
