SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 5 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The show ‘The Hole’, which was born in 2011 as a result of the collaboration between Letsgo, Yllana and Paco León, turns ten and the company celebrates it with a new show, ‘The Hole X’, which comes to Tenerife to be performed from the April 26 to May 7 in a large tent located in the Palmetum in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
In ‘The Hole X’, which rescues the essence of the original with the most impressive numbers and the most iconic characters of the three editions, the best and most surprising performances by national and international artists, suggestive stripteases, circus numbers of the best level made by invited artists with a successful career and, even, a great love story seasoned with a more sensual touch than ever.
This new show is directed by Gabriel Chamé, with Alex O’Dogherty as the author of the texts and stage director of the masters of ceremonies, Guillermo Weickert in the choreography, Marc Álvarez in the musical direction and José Luis Sixto Rodriguez as assistant of direction. The producer will announce very soon the masters of ceremonies that will alternate in conducting the show.
The cast of the show, in addition to the master of ceremonies, is completed by Vinila Von Bismark, who plays the Generala as well as being the resident director, Josse Zandoval as the Crazy Pony and Coral Quiñones and Mónica Riba as the Powerpuff Girls; Julio Bellido is Almon; Oleg Tatarynov is the commander and performs the Air Pole number. Edgar López, Arnau Lobo, Omar Antxundia and Fran Velázquez are the butlers; Donet Collazo is Super Gold, Maru Limeres and Tamar Vela are the X Girls and Dias Brothers are the Icarios and Carlo and Úrsula as Duo Roller.
‘The Hole’ began its journey under the slogan ‘You have to be in the hole to get out of the hole’ with Paco León as the first master of ceremonies and came to revolutionize the national and international billboard. Since then a sequel, ‘The Hole 2’, and a prequel, ‘The Hole Zero’, have been released and have captivated two and a half million viewers on their national and international tour (he traveled outside our borders to conquer five countries : Germany, France, Italy, Mexico and Argentina). ‘The Hole’ has become a genre in itself: a mix of circus, burlesque, theatre, cabaret, music and humor in a fun, scoundrel, provocative and very sensual tone.
The show ‘The Hole’ was also part of homes in Spain during the pandemic with the project #saldremosdelagujero; through the Instagram account @theholeshow, broadcasting live performances by the artists who participated in the show. And after the confinement, it premiered on July 10, 2020 on an outdoor stage installed in Madrid (Puerta del Ángel stage), becoming one of the first shows to be performed after the pandemic.
