SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Juan Daniel Fajardo presented his candidacy today for the Independent Association of El Sauzal (AISA) and Nueva Canarias (NC) for Mayor and stressed that he aspires to turn the municipality “into something more than a photographic showcase in which people He stops, gets out of the car and drives off again.
The event was attended by the president of NC, Román Rodríguez; the spokesman Luis Campos; the Secretary for Institutional Relations, Pedro Quevedo; the president of NC in Tenerife and mayor of Tacoronte, Daniel Díaz; and the candidates the municipalities of Santa Cruz and La Laguna, Odalys Padrón and Ana Orán.
During his speech, Juan Daniel Fajardo took a tour of the electoral program with which he will attend the next elections and remarked that El Sauzal must be “a town that becomes a reference at the island level, that attracts investment, that creates more employment , that builds protected housing and that, of course, offers the visitor a complete experience”.
Fajardo recalled that he is from Ravelo but made it clear that the party “is from El Sauzal and is the patrimony of the entire municipality.” “This town is divided by the highway, but we are here to unite it and unite it,” he added.
The candidate stressed that it is not possible to continue “creating duplications in the infrastructures because that complicates the coffers of the City Council.” “We have to create infrastructures thinking of El Sauzal as a whole in which you feel represented and proud,” he concluded.
For his part, Román Rodríguez remarked that in Nueva Canarias they do not like “fuss, but rather solutions”, in reference to the so-called ‘Mediator case’, and made it clear that the responsibility for producing “the necessary changes that Tenerife needs is the men and women of El Sauzal, who with their support have the last word so that the panorama improves and Juan Daniel Fajardo is the next mayor of this municipality”.
