SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 4 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 61-year-old man has been injured after suffering a fall on a rocky area at the entrance to Las Eras, in the municipality of Fasnia, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1- 2.
The event occurred today, Saturday, at around 9:45 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert stating that a person had suffered a fall in an area of rocks that was difficult to access and was injured.
Once the necessary emergency resources were activated, a medicalized ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), members of the Fire Consortium, Arico Local Police and members of the Arico Civil Protection attended the scene.
The SUC personnel agreed to the affected person, assisted him and the firefighters transferred him on a nest stretcher to the place where the ambulance was located, where he was taken to the Hospital Universitario Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria after presenting various traumas of a nature moderate, except complications.
The Local Police and Civil Protection collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources.
