
SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ministry of Public Administrations, Justice and Security of the Government of the Canary Islands has agreed to initiate an extraordinary and urgent inspection as a result of the so-called ‘Meditor case’ and which includes all the actions of the General Directorate of Livestock since 2019, a job that entrusted to the technical services of the General Services Inspectorate, which depends on the General Directorate for Modernization.
This was announced at a press conference by the counselor responsible for the Area and spokesman for the Government of the Canary Islands, Julio Pérez, who also reported that the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has responded “in its entirety” to the request made by the Court of Instruction Number 4 of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which requested that it send a series of files related to a series of certain companies since 2016.
