Health trains a thousand students in Tenerife in first aid and CPR



The Ministry of Health has trained more than a thousand primary and secondary school students from different educational centers in Tenerife with the aim of promoting training in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) among the island’s educational community.

This activity was launched last year as part of the Salud con Z initiative, a project aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle habits and providing training in health education among adolescents in schools in Tenerife, as well as among the teaching team and Other personnel hired in schools and institutes.

The courses, developed by a team of Medicine and Nursing professionals from the Primary Care Management of Tenerife, have already been carried out in more than a dozen student centers in different municipalities, Health details in a statement.

Thus, since its launch last year, the educational community of the IES Mencey Acaymo de Güímar, Valle Guerra, Canarias de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Villalba Hervás de La Orotava, the Education Center of Adults from the Northeast Region of Tenerife, from Tejina; the CEIP Guajara de Fasnia and Teófilo Pérez de Tegueste, and the CIFP Los Gladiolos, among others.
