SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 27 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
National Police agents have arrested two men with criminal records, both 30 years old, for the alleged authorship of two robberies with violence or intimidation. The judicial authority has ordered his entry into pretrial detention.
The robberies, committed at the end of January with a difference of days between the two, were carried out in a minisacasino in the El Sobradillo neighborhood and in a food establishment in the Ofra neighborhood.
In both cases, a hooded youth, armed in one of them with a knife and in the other with a drill, intimidated the workers of the establishments to get the money from the cash register.
The National Police investigators, after being aware of the facts, took the necessary steps to clarify them. These investigations led in both cases to the identification of the alleged robbers, two men who had committed the acts separately and without being related to each other.
They were arrested in the capital of Tenerife and in La Laguna and, after being heard in a statement at the police station, made available to the Investigating Court on Duty.
