After two years marked by the pandemic, in which there was a virtual version and a summer version, the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife recovered its essence in 2023 and was celebrated in style.
The mayor of the capital, José Manuel Bermúdez, considers that this has been the best edition in the last 15 yearsa statement also supported by the participation of more than 800,000 people during the 10 days of festivities.
From now on “we are with the corner of our eyes on the Santa Cruz Carnival next year for which we have 348 days left for the Parade, which would be February 9, and the Gala on the 7th, following the traditional calendar. So in the coming weeks we will continue making decisions about the format of next year’s Carnival because the calendar continues to put us to the test,” said the mayor of Fiestas, Alfonso Cabello.
