Maritime Rescue has rescued unharmed on Saturday a diver who was in trouble in the area of the Las Eras Beachwithin the municipality of Fasnia (Tenerife).
According to reports to Europa Press from sources from the state body, it was the 112 who notified the Tenerife Rescue Center around 12:50 p.m. that a person had sighted a diver from the shore who was signaling about 100 meters from the coast, while also the sea in poor condition.
For this reason, the Helimer 201 helicopter was mobilized, to the Salvamar Tenerife and diverted to the area to the Queens boat, which was about three miles from the incident.
Minutes later it was learned that it was a group of seven scuba divers, of whom five were already on the beach when the air resource arrived, while a sixth was heading to the coast without major complications.
In this way, the Helimer rescued the diver who was left in distress and left her on the breakwater, where the medical personnel and the Civil Guard.
Finally, the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) verified that the diver was tired although in good condition and that she did not require medical assistance.
